These days is so easy to be negative. The image media and social media on a daily basis are bringing to us supports inconfidence, envy, anger, stress, and negativity. So I´m trying to focus on bringing positivity into my life every day. I was always the person who was finding the beauty in everything and everyone. I was the person encouraging and motivating my friends when they were down. But in a certain stage of my life, something has changed. I got angry so easily, but I´m trying to fight the negativity and I´m bringing you few tips to embrace positivity and happiness every day.
Learn to let go
Are you the person who takes everything personally? I was too. But it´s never too late to let everything go and be yourself. I cared a lot what others think about me, but you know what? Not anymore. I am me. I am unique, so are you.
Learn to love yourself
This is the biggest problem of this century. Low self-confidence, constant comparing with others brings the negativity into your life. It´s hard to stay positive when you constantly have in front of your eyes images of perfect bodies, perfect lives, perfect everything. The first thing you have to focus is to love yourself first. Always. You have to live with you all your life, so you have to accept who you are. If you´ll start to be positive about yourself, it will be so much easier to be positive about everything else.
Clear your head
The perfect way to get rid of negativity is to clear your head. It´s hard to focus and concentrate on the things to be done when you are constantly distracted. Just go out, take deep breaths, talk to someone in person. Or just go to the quiet room or find you comfort place, have a cup of tea or coffee, or turn the soothing or uplifting music on and relax. Focus on yourself. Take it as a kind of meditation. Whatever it is, make sure you make it a habit on a daily or weekly basis.
The best cure for any negativity. Learn to smile all the time. It´s proven that a simple smile can make you happier.
Change your thoughts from negative to positive
Negative thoughts are the base of all negativity. They may seem hard to avoid, but negativity is all about your mindset. And by the time you will create a habit. Always try to search for the bright side of the situation.
Turn the TV off/unplug
Try to unplug from time to time from social media, phone, e-mails, TV, and internet. It´s affecting our mood and has effect on our mindset. Taking a break from being online, even for just a few hours, can be a great refresher for your mind.
Surround yourself with positive people
When you´re stuck with negative thoughts, talk to friends or people who can put things into other perspective and won´t support the negative thoughts in yourself. Meet people who believe in you, support you and never let you down. Or you can make it opposite way and do something nice for someone else, you will feel better about yourself.
