Happy Monday everyone! Week 2 is over and let me tell you, that this week was something. It was more difficult than Week 1. At least first half of week. I was craving constantly entire day. When I took the challenge 2 weeks ago, I actually thought that it would get easier as the time passed. So the surprise came along with more intense cravings. I have to confess that sometimes I haven´t been dealing with cravings very well. I tried to tame it with dried fruits, almonds, potatoes or brown rice, cheese, Greek yogurt or sour cream. I ate a lot of apples and carrots, which also helped me to fight cravings due to its sweet taste.
In the morning I usually eat 2 to 3 scrambled eggs (I´m sharing my food with my little love) with veggies or cottage cheese with grated apple and raisins or dried apricots (can be great as a snack). The perfect thing on having baby is that they can´t eat salty or sugary foods. And my little boy loves to eat what I eat from the same plate so he actually helps me to stay on track. A lot of veggies, no salt, no spices. Amazing.
If it comes to my overall feelings, I found some major improvements. The skin on my face is getting better, no pimples, no acne, the redness is disappearing. Even my hair is less dry. I survived whole week without headaches and since I started this challenge, I have no acid refluxes. And I looked at myself in the mirror this morning and I noticed that my belly is shrinking. Yay. However, I have to survive two more weeks and I hope I will get over my addiction. I´m still curious, how I will react to sweets after the four weeks are over.
Thank you all for reading my blog and I hope you come back again to check my Week 3 update.
