Hello 2019!

hazysecrets_hello_2019

Happy New Year everyone! As every year, I have a lot of goals to achieve this year, but I decided to not set New Year´s resolutions. My biggest problem is overthinking, so I decided to simplify things to not overwhelm myself. After many years of resolutions I found out that the best thing is to write a list of smaller, more attainable goals and to keep up with them before setting bigger goals.

My first personal goal is to be more patient. I am quite anxious person, mainly when things aren´t going my way. And I really want to work on the patience this year. Next few goals are to improve my health:

  • less sweets, more fruit and vegetables (I have a horrible sweet tooth)
  • drink more water
  • exercise more, going for longer walks
  • work on self-confidence

When it comes to professional goals, I want to blog more. The truth is that last two years were the worst in my life. I had to cope with lots of downs, so I decided to be more positive, to not take things too personally, because I love sharing things with you guys through my blog. This year I´d like to do more collaborations, to grow my audience and post more on my social media.

I would love to hear some of your goals for this year. Thank you guys for reading and following. I am wishing you a very successful and healthy new year!

Spring is here!

Happy Monday lovely people!

Spring is here! Who´s not happy about it? Even though the winter doesn´t seem to give up any time soon in this area, I really look forward to spring. It´s my second favorite season right after the autumn. Last week was quite warm and we saw some snowdrops in the gardens on our afternoon strolls, which is a good sign of changing seasons. The start of this year was quite hard for me and my family so I hope this spring will bring us all some much-needed positive changes. So here are some reasons, why I really love and look forward to this incredible season:

1. Fashion: spring dresses, light coats, cute shoes, colorful accessories, pastels, florals, cute patterns. This is the right season to get crazy with colors and patterns and accessories. You just need your imagination.

2. Flowers: tulips, daffodils, snowdrops, lilies of the valley, they are everywhere! They are super affordable, pretty and they bring some spring smell, positivity and cuteness to your home. And I really look forward to plant lavender on my balcony.

3. Longer days: I am quite a night owl when it comes to work. Most things I do are usually in the evening when my son sleeps. Preparing my blog posts, exercising, ironing the laundry (I think I am the last person on Earth who irons). So longer days for me, yes please!

4. Everything fresh: fresh air, fresh vegetables, fresh herbs, fresh flowers, fresh berries, fresh washing hanged outside… just everything fresh! I´m really looking forward to make a salad, prepare some meat for grilling outside and enjoy it with a glass of good wine. Not speaking of the smell of freshly washed laundry hanged outside.

5. Birds chirping: I love to open windows in the afternoon, make a cup of tea or coffee, turn off TV and just listen to the sounds of the nature. It´s so amazing and relaxing.

What do you love on spring season?

My thoughts on miscarriage

Hello my dear readers,

I hope you are doing well. To be honest, I don´t know where to start. Last month we got the amazing message that we will be parents again. Everything went well, I had 2 ultrasounds, morning sickness, and all pregnancy symptoms you can imagine. My belly was slowly popping out and I was looking forward to buy maternity clothes. The last week I was feeling great, my energy levels increased and morning sickness was gone. I was so ready to enter second trimester. As week 12 was approaching (on Monday 26th I was supposed to have my 12 week check out and ultrasound), on Saturday I woke up in the morning bleeding. I was bleeding with my son too, but it was week 5 or 6 but it was much lighter. This time it was so much heavier so I got scared and I cried because subconsciously I knew that something was wrong. We went to the nearest hospital and there I got injection to stop bleeding. In the afternoon the bleeding went worse. So we went to the hospital where my son was born (the doctors and nurses there are amazing, I cannot thank them enough for the care, professionality and humanity they have) and we got the worst message in my life. That the baby had no heartbeat and I had missed abortion. I have never felt more helpless and I think I have never been this sad in my life. So my doctor suggested to order me on curettage which happened on Monday. After the operation I felt kind of empty. My baby was gone. Since then I am trying to suppress my grief with emotional eating, but I really need some time to go through all the emotions flowing through my mind. I know it is bad for me and for my overall health. I know how important is to have some support, so if any of you went through something similar, please feel free to DM me on my social media accounts. We can help each other. A lot of people don´t speak about this situation, but I think it´s important to talk about it. I have read and heard that 20 % of pregnancies end with missed or other kinds of abortions. I don´t know if it´s supposed to be comforting words, it didn´t comfort me at all. I hope I am not only one here so if you have your story, please I am here for you.

I hope I have your patience and support and I wish you all the best from all my heart.
