Sometimes it seems to me that to be constantly online is a necessity today. Not to mention that it´s an incredible time killer. I mean, seriously. To be online present all the time is keeping us under pressure and by the time we´ll build an unhealthy obsession.
That´s why taking a break from being online is not only beneficial for your health, but it´s also a perfect refresh for your mind. It also helps you to refocus on more important things to be done and after that, you´ll find out that the whole world is not turning around the internet. You´ll have a fresher mindset, more work did and you´ll be less stressed.
Let´s be honest, to be online all the time leads us to negative thoughts quite often, self-doubt, lower confidence, comparing to others, and jealousy.
I would mark myself as a workaholic. I can´t just sit and do nothing. When I´m not doing my daily chores, I always have so many thoughts in my head related to my work or home, but sometimes I just look for some online inspiration. And from there it´s too easy to come to the point: „I just check this, and that.“ Then you´ll find out that it´s evening and nothing was done. So here are few tips to help you to refocus on more important things, like you, your family, friends, etc.
- Go out and take a walk
- Go to the gym
- Cook something good for your closest people
- Go shopping
- Learn something new
- Write your personal journal
- Read a book
- Pamper yourself (have a massage or bubble bath)
- Organize or decorate your home
- Have a movie night
- Meet some in person
